If, like me, you’re of a certain age, the likelihood is that your grandparents had a ‘job for life’. It’s also quite likely that this applied to your grandpa but your grandma didn’t work (not in the paid sense at least).
Skip a generation and, typically, your parents probably both worked. They might have had one career change along the way.
Fast-forward to today. You’ve probably had several jobs with a career trajectory that has been slightly upward but often sideways or downwards. All a bit ‘snakes and ladders’. And, in the current climate, there are too many adders and not enough ladders!
I've got good news, great news and fab news!
good news first
In a world of seismic change, the world is crying out for those who can bring vibrancy, life, creativity, enthusiasm and energy to the workplace. In short, there has never been a better time to be brilliant.
But with the present gloom that seems to be settling over much of the country, even the most positive and optimistic people need a boost.
so our great news is
That Andy W and I have a solution. We’re going on holid... I mean ‘tour’.
We’re in Exeter (Sandy Park) on Oct 11th and Bristol (The Watershed) on Oct 12th. We want to fill both venues and conquer the South West as part of our plan for global happiness domination (cue manic laugh and stroking of cat, ‘MWWAHAHAHAHA’).
and the fab news part
As part of our package we have a few cost price tickets for our special 2%ers – to ensure plenty of energy (and people who will laugh at Andy W’s jokes!). We are happy to offer some of these tickets to 2%ers and friends, family and colleagues of 2%ers. So, if you want to experience (or re-experience) ‘The Art of Being Brilliant’ or you know someone who’d benefit, please put them our way. Think of it as staff development, personal development or just ladder building. And, remember, you get us both. My clever researched stuff and Whittaker’s humour and good looks*
Places are going for a break-even £50 (plus VAT) and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis…
