A practical workshop that puts the heart back into the profession
Nursing and midwifery are demanding professions. The pressure is real, the pace is relentless and it can become all too easy to focus on what is wrong, what is missing and what still needs fixing.
But that is not the whole story.
This interactive workshop combines the most powerful ideas from positive psychology, with an appreciative inquiry approach. Rather than beginning with problems, participants explore the moments when nursing and midwifery are already working at their very best.
The session is built around four simple but powerful questions:
What is already good?
What could be possible?
How do we create more of it?
How do we keep it alive?
Think of it as an opportunity to take the vital signs of the profession: to check the pulse, restore energy and strengthen what keeps nursing and midwifery alive.
Through conversation, reflection and practical activities, participants will identify what helps people and teams flourish, explore how to create more of those conditions and agree small actions that can make a lasting difference.
They will leave feeling recharged, valued and equipped to bring more of their best selves to their work, their teams and their lives.
Because the world does not simply need more nurses and midwives. It needs them fully present, at their best and able to shine.
