Fast forward to when you’re 102. Imagine you’re sitting in your care home, slumped in your chair, being fed some soup by a nice lady. She’s hugely encouraging, but it’s a messy business.
Dare to put yourself in that situation and reflect on your life.
You’ll reminisce on days gone by when you had fine health, a quick mind, could walk unaided and were capable of eating soup all on your own.
Go you!
Ahhh, the good old days.
The chances are that today – and yesterday, and tomorrow, and last year, and next year – these are the good old days.
So it makes sense to quit waiting. Rather than waiting until age 102 to enjoy the good old days, why not LOVE today, today?
